How Much Does It Cost to Convert VHS to DVD in Pennsylvania?

Converting your VHS tapes to DVD can become pricey depending on how long your tapes are. DVDs can only hold a specific amount of footage (normally around 2 hours) while your VHS tape can hold 6 hours (sometimes up to 8 hours) of footage. VHS to DVD conversion pricing goes by the number of DVDs needed to convert each tape. At Our Memories in Motion, we charge $20 for the first 2 hours of footage, per tape, and then $10 for every additional 2 hours of footage, per tape. For a 6 hour long tape, it would cost $40 to convert that Videotape to DVD.
A more cost effective, and more future proof, solution would be to convert your videotapes to USB instead. Videotape to USB pricing is done per videotape, not per set length of footage. $15 per tape plus the cost of the USB stick is all we charge here at Our Memories in Motion.
If you are interested in having your VHS tapes transferred to DVD or to USB, contact us either by using our contact form or by calling 484-335-3799.
